We dare: ZORGE Rubber Solutions focuses on the future – new building project launched.
Despite the turbulent economic times and the challenges posed by crises and uncertainties, we have decided to set a bold statement for the future. After a long phase of cramped conditions, makeshift buildings and renting additional storage space in the immediate vicinity, we decided to take a decisive step last year: the construction of a new, future-proof production and storage hall.
From planning to implementation – a complex project.
With the support of an experienced architectural firm, we developed a detailed building plan of the hall and successfully completed the tendering process. The planning phase was anything but easy: many hurdles had to be overcome before the building application received the necessary approval. Numerous official requirements had to be taken into account, including development plans and environmental concepts. A precise survey of the site and a geological report were also essential. Even an unexploded ordnance test from the Second World War was one of the necessary measures. Thanks to these careful preparations, we are now on course – with a solid plan for the coming years.
Financing secured – a solid plan for the future.
Of course, future-oriented financing was also necessary. A viable financing concept was developed, which gives us the necessary security for the realization of the construction project. We are aware of the challenges associated with a construction project in such uncertain times. At the same time, however, we also know that if the general economic situation were to stabilize again, we would reach the limits of our capacity at our current location in terms of incoming and outgoing goods, warehousing and production. It would also no longer be possible to fully comply with quality standards such as IATF 16949.
The need for more space – structure and efficiency for sustainable development.
Although the new building apparently “only” comprises additional storage space, it will play a decisive role in the rearrangement and optimization of our entire site in Kirchheim unter Teck. The additional space will allow us to relocate tools, production and work materials as well as spare parts from the production areas to organized storage zones. This restructuring will enable us to make our production more efficient and optimize production processes. At the same time, we are creating space for new projects that will contribute to the expansion and further development of our company.
Start of construction in March – completion at the end of 2025.
The course has been set for the future: Construction is firmly scheduled to start at the beginning of March 2025 and the new building is expected to be ready for occupancy at the end of 2025. We are looking forward to a busy and exciting year in which we will lay the foundations for further growth and a successful future with this important project.
Zorge Rubber Solutions – goal-oriented for the future.
With this future-oriented decision, we are taking a bold step to remain optimally positioned even in difficult times. Our goal is clearly focused on growth in order to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for future challenges. We are convinced that the new building is not only an important milestone for our company, but will also make a significant contribution to securing and increasing our competitiveness in the long term.
