Since last year, we have had a new production manager in Nagykörös: Attila Pallagi has taken over responsibility for all production processes at the production site in Hungary.
He succeeds Csaba Staiger, who retired in January 2024 after a long and successful career.
Dual expertise with an elastomer focus.
With a degree in industrial engineering and a degree in mechanical engineering (BSc) with a specialisation in polymer and elastomer processing from the NJE in Kecskemét, Mr Pallagi brings with him extensive technical and business knowledge and a sound education. He has continuously deepened and expanded his expertise over the past eight years through responsible positions in the elastomer industry.
Career milestones and successful projects.
He began his career as a „process engineer“ at an international manufacturer and TIER/OEM supplier of elastomer moulded parts and 2K multi-component parts. For three years, he was responsible for the production preparation of new customer projects, the maintenance and optimisation of tools and the continuous improvement of production processes.
His „rubber path“ then led him to a leading global supplier of sealing solutions. In this role, he was also significantly involved in process optimisation for injection moulding (IM) and acquired comprehensive machine expertise and detailed process technologies from renowned manufacturers such as DESMA, Maplan and LWB Steinl. In addition, he was involved in relocating production lines and machines for moulded rubber parts and bonded parts and accompanied various LEAN projects that further increased the company’s efficiency.
Convinced of his skills as an engineer and team player, he was soon given the opportunity not only to further develop his leadership qualities as ‘Process Technology’ team leader, but also to unselfishly pass on his extensive expertise in rubber processing and technologies in training courses.
This experience makes him an ideal candidate to lead production at ZORGE in a future-oriented manner.
New challenge with personnel responsibility.
As ZORGE Production Manager in Hungary, Mr Pallagi is responsible for all workflows and processes in production and afterworks. This includes the organisation and planning of shifts, the creation of production plans and the implementation of profitability calculations and costings. He is also responsible for more than 40 employees, including their training and deployment planning. Another important part of his job is working closely with compound suppliers and toolmakers as well as coordinating the procurement of production resources and materials.
Continuous increase in efficiency as a goal.
Attila Pallagi himself says: „I am very pleased to be working in this responsible position and to be able to contribute my experience. My main goal is to make production even more efficient and to establish continuous improvement processes in order to ensure consistently smooth moulded part production and to offer our customers maximum product safety. It is particularly important to me to motivate the team and support my employees individually in their further development.“
With its clear objectives and strong focus on efficiency and continuous improvement, our „new arrival“ will help us to take the next steps in the further development of our production processes. Our strategy to expand our customer and process orientation is also gaining further momentum here. We are convinced that under his leadership, important impulses will be set in motion that will both optimise our internal processes and strengthen our market position.
